دومین جشنوارهي فیلمهای ایرانی در سان فرانسیسکو
پژمان اکبرزاده: دومین جشنوارهي فیلمهای ایرانی در سانفرانسیسکو [۲۹ شهریور]: موضوع اصلی دورهی دوم جشنوارهی فیلمهای ایرانی در سانفرانسیسکو، «زنان ایران» و یا «زنان فیلمساز ایرانی»اند. گوهر خیراندیش، هنرمند سینمای ایران هم در یکی از برنامههای جشنواره حضور دارد که در پی نشست گفتوشنود با او، فیلم «بانو» با بازیگری وی و کارگردانی داریوش مهرجویی به نمایش درمیآید. فیلمی که در سال ۱۳۷۰خورشیدی (۱۹۹۱ میلادی) در ایران ساخته شده است. دربارهي دومین دورهی جشنوارهی فیلمهای ایرانی در سانفرانسیسکو با سعید شفا، پایهگذار و هماهنگکنندهی برنامههای جشنواره گفتوگویی داشتم
San Fran shows Iran films...
The second annual, two-day Iranian Film Festival will be held in San Francisco September 19-20. The Iranian Film Festival (IFF) showcases the independent feature and short films created about or by the Iranian Diaspora. This year’s festival will focus on Iranian women and Iranian women filmmakers, and will include a conversation with Iranian actress and director Gohar Kheirandish. Kheirandish was born in Shiraz in 1954. She began her acting career in 1970 when she was in high school. Her first film, “Roozha-ye Entezaar,” (The days of waiting) was screened in 1986. She later went on to receive her acting and directing degree from the University of Tehran’s, Daneshkadeh-e Honarha-ye Zeeba, or The College of Beautiful Arts. Kheirandish’s first nationally acclaimed film was “Baanoo” (The Lady), after which her career in the film industry took off. The Iranian actress has starred in 41 films and many television series. The festival will screen more than 20 films including Nahid Persson’s “The Queen and I,” Massoud Bakhshi’s “Tehran Has No More Pomegranates,” Claus Strigel’s “Moon Sun Flower Game” and Sam Ali Kasahani’s “Tehran: Another Side.”
Tickets are $10 per film and $7 with a student ID. The IFF is currently seeking volunteers to help with the festival. For more information visit: http://www.IranianFilmFestival.org/
